We try to use local suppliers for our traditional pub fayre whenever possible. Ceres Butchers and G&J Wilson of St Monans provide supplies for our homemade steak pie and fish & chips.
We try to support local breweries and currently offer the range of craft ales supplied by Ovenstone 109 from Pitenweem. Inveralmond Ossian has always been a firm favourite and Loch Fyne’s Jarl has recently been added to our ever evolving range.
Guest chefs prepare excellent meals for our regular and varied themed nights, such as Italian, Tapas, Steak and Mexican. Canapés are also prepared to supplement our ever popular Wine Gin and Whisky tastings.
Wines are supplied by our good friend Peter Wood of St Andrews Wine Company. He has just won ‘independant wine shop of the year’ in Scotland and provides a knowledge and enjoyable addition to proceedings.
The current pandemic has restricted our offering to almost all food being sold as takeaways. We really hope however to have some wholesome winter warming dishes available to enjoy inside with a pint.
Our burns supper is an annual ‘Must Attend’ event with excellent food and informed speaker. A light hearted atmosphere is enjoyed by all of our guests.
Christmas and Hogmanay are always special events at the Inn and we are hopeful that we will be able to enjoy the festive season subject of course to COVID-19 restrictions.
